Day 11: Redefining Words (Part 8) How to redefine words - writing a definition and checking the content.

This is a continuation to:

Writing a final definition is a matter of looking at the definitions that you wrote creatively and deciding upon a definition that you are standing clear within yourself as and then rewriting the definition in its final form.

Within this process you are looking to make sure that the definition that you are writing in fact represents what this word means as a living expression of itself.

Once you have formulated a definition for your word you are able to ask yourself the following questions to verify that your definition is clear and can stand as a definition for life.
Here are the questions to ask yourself:
Does my definition represent what this word stands for?
This is a grounding question, meaning that when we redefine words we can become overzealous in the definitions that we assign words and sometimes completely go off topic in the desire of wanting the definition to ‘sound’ or ‘look’ good. This question is asked to ensure that what we are writing down as a definition in fact represents the word that we are defining.
Is my definition free of polarities?
This question is asked to see within oneself whether self has given this definition a value more than or less than what it is. You can test this question by placing yourself as the giver as well as the receiver of the definition of this word.  If you see that you have an experience of either being more than or being less than you require to go back to the drawing board to look at what is required to make this definition free from polarity.
Can I stand by this definition into infinity?
This question asks you to let go of your current life programming and asks you to look whether the definition that you have assigned to this word is a word that you are able to live in all contexts of life. A fun projection to use here is for instance place yourself on Mars or on Venus and see whether the definition that you gave holds while you are within a ‘different’ context. Placing yourself in a ‘different’ environment where the ‘usual’ rules do not apply assists self to see whether the definition that self gave the word is clear of ones conditioned responses.
If you answer no to any of these 3 questions go back to the drawing board and rewrite your definition. Follow through and answer the questions till the definition that you had written answers yes to all three these questions asked.
